Custom Blue Grass Folder
I have a Larry B Gordon custom on its way to me and like to know more about maker, is he still making knives? The knife I have coming was Supposedly made in 1990 or earlier 1990’s it’s called the Custom Blue Grass Folder, photos are not mine and will add more once I get. Engraved main side blade reads Gordon with etch of a Hill Billy and on tang reads Farmington Hills, MI, pile side of blade engraved Special Mother of Pearl Sterling Silver. On spine name engraved Neil Padgett maybe who was made for or a possible collaboration of another custom knife maker. I’ve found a few knives of Larry’s on Arizona Custom Knives. Enjoy and looking forward to know more!

There was a factory manufactured knife with that unusual action made decades ago. Trying to remember who made it. Always wanted one since a kid I knew somehow had one.

I would like to know what it’s called, this one is definitely a possible one of one custom but don’t know for sure without seeing others. Hope this gets more attention so can learn more.tallguy606 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 2:29 pm There was a factory manufactured knife with that unusual action made decades ago. Look up Barry Wood’s Swinglock knives. Parker produced a version of it.Clark23 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 7:45 pmI would like to know what it’s called, this one is definitely a possible one of one custom but don’t know for sure without seeing others.
