Re: BONES BONES BONES
Just going back thru this highly successful thread that you started and marveling at all the great posts. I noticed that I didn't make any posts until pg 12, not sure that I had even looked at these first few pages until now. Great idea, J.O'., and great examples everyone!Ridgegrass wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 7:17 pm Thought this up as a photo essay on different bones and jigging. Just tried to show the bones without shields. I admit it turned into an an eye crosser !
Many of us can probably ID the brands by the jigging but that wasn't the intent. Just a display of my favorite handle material. I love pearl, stag, celluloid, ebony, metal, etc.,but, for me there's nothing better than BONE. Guess I'm a BONEHEAD.J.O'.

Thanks Ike. I find myself revisiting the old pages too. If you like pretty bones it's a good place to find a lot of them. Glad for all the contributors.
Here's an old Catt 22159 with some well worn and aged covers. O'.

I don't really want to post after these amazing last few pages of knives. But, I'll fall on the sword for the rest of us. Here are two of my favorites in the bones category of my collection..

That's a good descriptive word for what I see in real nice old bone and stag and your knives.
It's what I see in this old Valley Forge not Challenge.
