SCC Dogleg

Post by glennbad »

This one is a bit customized, a bit restoration. I picked up this Schrade Cut co dogleg off ebay, I think. Cell covers were starting to go, but they hadn't eaten things up yet. I picked out some stag and a nice shield, and this is how it turned out. Half stops still crisp, although the pen saw most of the use and is sharpened down a fair amount. Still, quite a serviceable knife, and it went right in my pocket this morning...

That turned out beautifully. It should have been in their regular production offerings.

Veeerrry niiiice!!! Excellent choice of shield, too. Wouldn't normally think of putting a shield on gnarly stag like that, but it's perfect; nice touch. ::nod::

Thanks! Getting a shield to work with stag can be a challenge, but when it works, it does look good.

That is awesome! I love the character of the stag, and the shield really makes it pop. 💯

We are on the same page, although I like a bar shield. It's that something extra.
