Looking for help

I was trying to do some research and found this forum. I was given two knives by my Grandfather many years ago and am hoping someone here might be able to help me.

The first knife is a 3 blade pocket knife. The scales seem to be some kind of plastic, tan in color with dark brown "notches" while one of the scales has a silver colored "shield" in it. The largest blade says "Stag Ireland" on it, while I see nothing else on the other two. The knife is not in the best of shape anymore. My Grandfather gave it to me when I was about 7 years old (about 30 years ago now) and I carried it with pride for many years. As I grew older, I put it away but time has not been good to it over my many moves, etc. My question is not really about value, so much as it is about identifying the knife and the history behind its manufacture.

While not a "pocket knife" the second knife -- I have been told -- is a Hitler Youth Knife that my Grandfather brought back from WWII (US Army Infantry - Battle of the Bulge). My family is not some crazed Nazi supporters, but I have some interest in it for its historical value. It has a fixed blade, black "scales" and metal sheath. There are some words in the base of the blade which look to be German (duh). The knife is also not in the best of shape. Part of one of the scales is broken where I was told my Father broke out a symbol (possibly Nazi symbol?). I'm wondering if anyone knows where a person may be able to find original "parts" to repair it to original condition.

I do not have the ability to take pics or I would have found a way to post them (not even really sure how to do that). Thank you for any help you might be able to give me.

Unfortunately, without pictures, you'll be getting mostly guessing, instead of informed information. Because what, or how a knife is marked, is one of the last things used to identify and date it.

However, I'll take a guess your 3 blade knife was made in the Stag Cutlery factory in Listowel, Ireland. However, it's impossible to tell when for sure. Maybe when the factory was owned by Jowika (a foreign corporation)...or after the factory was sold to Imperial Schrade. Sawcut Delrin handles (hard synthetic... shown in the picture below) would most likely make it sometime after 1960. They don't hold much collector value, even if mint. The sentimental value would be where it's at.

After posting, I realized it would be tough to help me out by description alone so I found and borrowed a camera. I hope I can get this to work and hope these help.

The 3 blade Stockman pattern looks to have "jigged" synthetic scales. I'm guessing before Imperial Schrade was involved.
Oh, that knife isn't in bad shape, IMO. It's just served it's purpose.

I think El Lobo has done a fine job on the two pocket knives. I'm not big into Nazi knives myself, but that knife you show us, which is real, based on the story behind it, is one of the most faked and copied knives in the world. You could find one very cheap and pirate the parts to make you old one whole again. Just a suggestion.

Welcome pale-rider

The fixed blade is a Germann Youth knife and it had a Swastika in the handle on one side. Replacement part's may be hard to find.
