Whats your newest addition to your Buck family and why?

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

If built in the Custom Shop, it would have this etch on the side of the blade not shown in your picture. The Custom Shop allows the customer to build their own knife by choosing the specific features they want.

My first 505. It has an advert for Johnston Pumps. Please excuse the drop of Rem Oil on the blade under "Pumps".

Thanks for looking.

Nice one. The 505's are a bit smoother in the pocket. Who gives away Buck 505's anyway ? ::tu:: J.O'.

Yes, nice size. It was in my pocket today for an outing to Virginia.

Thanks, CCC:

I'm not sure which I like better, the 503 or 505, but now that I have both they will each be seeing duty as my smaller second knife for EDC. Congrats on that 116. It is one great looking knife. I really like that blade style.

You're welcome Pringle! I prefer the 500 Duke, for it is bigger. The 531s are really nice also. But, you can't go wrong with either.
