It was a gift from my son. He bought three of Barry’s knives at a gun show about 15-20 years ago, IIRC in Mesquite, TX. One for his brother, one for himself and one for me. They were all different - the one I have is small enough to be pocket carried in its Kydex sheath.

I really like this Ashwinearl Lambsfoot and the green canvas micarta. Very smooth action and solid. Great knives.

That is a great story, ::nod:: it makes a knife so much more personal when it is a gift from a loved one. I have a lot of knives from pawn shops and flea markets, but there is not the same connection as when it comes from someone special.

Thanks you very much.

My current branding is now Ash.
I redrew my lambfoot pattern using a classic Sheffield. It's on my list to build again but have several others ahead.

Speaking of Ash...I love my Hackberry Root Burl Wharncliffe Bullet Teardrop. Without a doubt one of the finest custom knives I own.

Both absolutely awesome. My eyes go the jigging Ash did every time I see that knife, I love it. The grafting blade on the Erickson is a work of art!
