Scorpion logo

Post by beresman »

Here's a knife I found and purchased because I've never seen the mark before. Mother of pearl with a very unfortunate chip on the mark side. The mark itself is a scorpion with what appears to be "MM". Pile side is marked "Solingen". I haven't yet found out anything about this one...any info, gentlemen?

According to the book ‘GERMAN KNIFE AND SWORD MAKERS’ by J Anthony Carter; that would be a Scorpion by Gustav Iserloh. Solingen 1889 to probably end of WW2.
Cool stamp!

Cool knife and tang stamp. 😎👍
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!
