Interesting set Dimitri. I have a couple mechanical pencil’s having a knife blade that folds into them, but yours is the first set I’ve seen that has matching pencil and knife as separate pieces. Maybe it’s just rare to find a set still intact. ::shrug::

My two cents worth. I've had many like the red one. No name just USA and patent # 2,662,284. I've seen them from a dollar to $20.
The GITS is marked BEN HUR LIFE ASSN., and it's stuck! J.O'.

the first pic you listed is of an artisan advertising knife. i have a large collection of them. there is not much demand for some reason, and they usually bring 15 to 25 in good condition. some have one button and a blade that slides both directions and some have 2 buttons and 2 blades. a few have one button and a blade sliding only one way. sorry i know im very late on this post but i just today signed up for this website and im just feeling my way around here. im interested in all vintage sliders and autos. OLD vintage please. good luck!

Thanks for posting pictures of your knife! Looks like another slider with advertising. Seems to be fairly common with them.
