Hello
New user from Western MA here.
I am trying to figure out what the knives are that I inherited from my dad upon his passing.
I have quite a few knives, mostly old, and mostly of known origin.
I am a lifelong outdoorsman who appreciates the utility of proper blades in the woods.
If I were to describe myself I would say canoeist, boater, woodworker, golfer, angler, guitarist, camper.

Re: Hello
Welcome, from Alabama! I am glad that you are here.
Once you get settled in, feel free to share any pictures of specific knives, and there are bound to be multiple people here who can help.
Plus, you may just make some new fiends along the way!

Re: Hello
Sounds like you're going to fit in nicely. You could not have found a better place to find the information you're looking for.
The folks here will not mince words and tell you straight. Sometimes to the point of being "brutally honest", but if it's answers you're searching for, you came to the right place.
