Best working thumb stud I have found yet ... a really smooth operating knife.

I’m not a thumb stud lover Tony; just never appealed as the sole opening mechanism. I’m more of a flipper guy and have been staring at the Medford Smooth Criminal and the Benchmade Vector as my next bogies. If I bust open the piggie bank I’ll post them here.

They are flippers also. I struggle with some thumb studs, and agree with you, as to that being the only opener.
The ones on the Newootz are the best I have found for my big hands and thumb.

Treefarmer, that knife is 1 of 175 so not super rare. I haven't really seen any other Case Classics in that handle material.
