The grind and finish on that blade are stunning! Nice score.

Thanks guys and Happy New Year - I’ve wanted a Mike Moran for a moment and was always late to the dance. The knife Gods worked in my favor and it’s everything I had hoped for especially the 3.50” length closed. Here’s Mike’s images and spec sheet. Peace ::handshake::

Best working thumb stud I have found yet ... a really smooth operating knife.

I’m not a thumb stud lover Tony; just never appealed as the sole opening mechanism. I’m more of a flipper guy and have been staring at the Medford Smooth Criminal and the Benchmade Vector as my next bogies. If I bust open the piggie bank I’ll post them here.

They are flippers also. I struggle with some thumb studs, and agree with you, as to that being the only opener.
The ones on the Newootz are the best I have found for my big hands and thumb.
Look forward to seeing the Medford and Benchmade Tom!

Tony those Newoots are nice looking knives. Love the blade structure and the nice flow of the knife. Never heard of them before but will keep an eye out for them now.

Treefarmer, that knife is 1 of 175 so not super rare. I haven't really seen any other Case Classics in that handle material.
