Looks like most of theses knives including mine have more color and grain than I expected which is great.

Re: 2024 AAPK Club Knife Information
Tom, I've noticed an influx of sellers who didn't come for the forum nor seem to have an interest in AAPK but only as a platform to sell their knives, especially with ebay's view of switch blades. I am a little more inquisitive of the sellers I buy from now. The positive side is increased capital for Bryan to use for improvements to the site. Like the ole cow, you eat the grass and spit out the cockle burs. Thanks again for all you do around here and for caring.bestgear wrote: ↑Wed Dec 25, 2024 5:45 pmI did and was told that it isn’t my money and not my knife and that I should rethink my approach to someone else's business. Re: 2024 AAPK Club Knife Information
You know Floyd, I'm good with that and recognize that many that bought this years club knife are NOT active forum members and may or may not have an AAPK Store. And like most clubs or fraternal organizations today, only 5-10% of the members participate and make contributions to the betterment of the community, I'm even good with that. At the end of the day I tell myself that we all have at least one DNA strand that binds us together; a love for knives. Some, like you and I, have found multiple common strands of DNA and we enjoy a much richer friendship. My great hope is that everyone on this forum for whatever reason makes a meaningful connection that is important in their life.

Thank you so much Tom and Brian and everyone involved.
Mine has arrived and is quite nice for my first pocket knife purchase.
I am quite sure “LK” would approve.

Re: 2024 AAPK Club Knife Information
I received mine today.
I stand corrected on the wood handles not being grand enough for the 20th Anniversary knife.
The kingwood is stunning in person.
GREAT JOB TOM!

Re: 2024 AAPK Club Knife Information
it’s my pleasure David. Kingwood has a Janka hardness of 3,340 pounds-force (lbf) making it one of the top ten hardest woods on Earth. We have a few headed to some very dry places in the Southwest US so I’m curious to see how it will fare over time in those conditions

Re: 2024 AAPK Club Knife Information
Well Tom, if you still have any left it might be time to double the price and list them on eBay.
Why should the flippers get all the profits?
Of course I’m only joking…but I don’t much care for flippers taking advantage of the AAPK club knife like that. IMO, it’s disrespectful to the site and the members and runs counter to the established ethos of community we endeavor to maintain.

Re: 2024 AAPK Club Knife Information
That seller is always trying to gouge top dollar out of flips and GEC releases. Doesn't surprise anyone who has watched their listing's over the years and seen the asking prices. Sad. Would be nice to see members get them who will appreciate and cherish these knives instead of those who try to just get max profit out of this labor of love from Bryan and Tom and the others who are doing us a service and favor. This is classlessly making as much money as possible on the backs of the staff and their hard work put in for free out of the goodness of their heart. Let's all boycott Heritage Blades in the future. If they had any decency at all they would split the profit or give it all back to AAPK staff who brought us the knives for a reasonable cost. Shameless, classless, disgusting. They should be put on a list and not allowed to get next years knife.

This beauty arrive just before Christmas, a perfect present. The 93 is such a great pattern and the Kingwood looks fantastic. Thanks Tom, Brian, and all involved at AAPK for making this happen.
