Million Veteran Program

Welcome to AAPK's Veteran’s Forum. This is a place where veterans can meet, get to know one another better, perhaps swap a story or two, and share any recent information that they have acquired from the Veterans Administration, DoD and Veterans Service Organizations, including but not limited to, DAV, AMVETS, VFW, American Legion, PVA, and MOPH. Another good source of information are branch specific organizations.
We will have a voluntary CHECKING IN topic where you can introduce yourself, years serve and branch or branches of service. Welcome Aboard!

I think it's a good thing, if it helps someone in the future.
Basically they will do a blood work up and you will fill out surveys about your family history of health issues, they send you news letters and surveys occasionally, I should be getting a survey soon. They abide by all HIPPI laws so that's not a problem. I feel that the VA has been really good to me, and it's a chance for me to give back and maybe help vets in some small way.
