What is this color bone pattern ?
I picked up this tiny hunter a 2001 other day at flea market and can’t figure out which bone color this is for Case. I loved the color but I ordered the color name See picture ?

It looks like Kentucky Bluegrass to me. I have a Case Cheetah in that color. I could be wrong though. I'd wait for more knowledgeable folks to come around.

I think woodwalker might be right but here’s another possibility.
Edit: I thought your knife had smooth bone but I saw the jigging after I enlarged the picture. I’ll leave this screenshot up anyway just in case.

Re: What is this color bone pattern ?
I know very little about this topic, but I have a recent similar story. I found a little case 63033 in a baggie in a secretary that I had inherited. I had the secretary for several years, and was looking through the drawers for something else. Here was this little case knife but it looked as if the sides were blue and grey. I had never seen a case knife with that coloring, but I only have a few case knives. The blackened blades cleaned right up. When I went to oil it some of the oil went on the sides and they turned a dark red/burgundy. It was really weird. So I put oil all over it and the whole thing looks like a Totally different color then when I found it.
So, can knife sides be discolored by lack of moisture, etc.....?

Yes, and they can be discolored by oil and other substances. Like most dyed porous substances.
