James Brand Knives

What is the current opinion of James Brand knives? I am mainly curious about the more traditional styles, i.e. Duval, Pike, and Wayland.

I was hoping more people had tried them and there would be more opinions in the last two years. Its hard to find much discussion on them, its almost like the knife world wants to act like they dont exist.

Nice website https://thejamesbrand.com/collections/shop-all but hard to tell quality from a picture and description.

Plenty of reviews on their dealers sites, most state overpriced.

Interesting - had never heard of them. Some nice modern-style knives. Looks like a few are made in USA but most don’t say (which usually means China). Lots of touting “minimalist” designs and features. Other than a SAK how much more minimalist can a pocket knife get? I’m guessing the “minimalist” angle emphasis is trying to appeal to a gen-z yuppie target demographic. Did not see any blue collar working folks in the pictures on their web site. Makes sense at those prices.
