From fallen Hedge Apple branch to folder display
I was at a knife show about 5-6 weeks ago and saw some Case knife
displays to hold your knife. It was made of acrylic and perfect but
just seemed too sterile to my liking.
A few weeks ago in the forest near back of my house a few Hedge Apple
tree branches snapped because of high winds. I decided to make
something from them. The larger one is 6 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inch
while the smaller ones are 5 1/2 by 1 inch. (Magnet on one end to
hold up knife)
I really enjoyed working with wood.

Awesome idea, Bob.

Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Very nice, a great idea. Hedge apple is great wood. And HARD when seasoned. Those ought to last several life times!

Thanks everyone for their replies.
I am thinking of making another one in between the
sizes pictured. Looking for the wood.
