Got my Northfield Antique Autumn bone today from CK. I am very impressed w/ this. I don’t like trappers as a rule but this would be the trapper that breaks the mold. This is very stout and so darn good looking. Take a look at that run up on these, it’s hard to find a US made knife with this tight of a run up on them. Very glad I got this one.

Franks Classic Knives is my GEC dealer. I just paid two invoices from Mr. Frank. I have the GEC#23LL Beaver gnawed jigged cherry wood and the #23LL Woodland micarta on the way. I also paid an early invoice on the Kifer SFO GEC#23 Blue camel bone , that should be released on 7/17/2020 .

I've been browsing AAPK for a few years but I am new to posting. I wanted to start a thread about the model 23 and I came across this thread so I thought I would revive it and also include older 23s. Here's a Sunday family portrait of 2006 23s.

Your collection is almost a perfect 10. But the 9 you have are pretty wonderful.

Thanks doglegg. It took quite an effort to gather them together but I certainly enjoyed the process. I hope to some day have a complete family reunion.

Thank you Sharpnshinyknives. I am still searching for a few more. Let me know if you ever come across any 2006 or 2007 model 23s that you woud like to pass along.

Try to spot the flaw in this wonderful 2007 model 23. I think the flaw makes it a more interesting piece.

Looks like the letter "D" is missing from the UN-X-LD blade etch. ::hmm::

Very cool gnarly stag, the kind I like 8) ::tu::

Maybe consider posting that one in this thread as well for the stag connoisseurs:

Thanks Q. I wish I could bring myself to drop it my pocket and enjoy using it. Maybe some day. And you're correct about the "D". The "-" after the X is also missing, except for a tiny speck. Thanks for the posting tip, will do.
