Can anyone identify the type of stone used for these exotic handles?

I got these three customized Case pocket knives as part of a collection.

The handles appear to be some sort of stone, but I have no idea how to identify it.

Each one is different - see photos.

Anyone have any knowledge of exotic stones?

Before I list these for sale, I would really like to identify each material.

I thought of shells, too. Either fossilized, or cast in resin. They remind me of periwinkle shells.
