Recently, this souvenir or tourist fixed blade knife with leather sheath arrived and it now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. It will also be added to my general souvenir or tourist knife collection. It came in a group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. But, I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular fixed blade knife. It is a COLONIAL, one blade (fixed), 4" end to end (the knife), 4 1/8" end to end (the sheath), souvenir or tourist, fixed blade knife with leather sheath. The blade front stamp says "COLONIAL (over) PROV. R.I. (over) U.S.A." The main sheath side says "PUERTO RICO" Overall, this fixed blade knife with leather sheath is in VERY GOOD condition. It did NOT need any cleaning at all. I took some pictures and here it is.

Some time ago, this souvenir or tourist pocket knife arrived and it now becomes my latest example to join this topic or thread. It also got added to my general pocket knife collection. It was in a very large group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. But, I did not buy the group or lot to obtain this particular pocket knife. It is a U.S.A., one blade, one tang stamp, 1 1/2" closed (not including the loop or ring), souvenir or tourist pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says "U.S.A." The main handle side says "WASHINGTON D.C." The other handle side says nothing, it is blank. Overall, this pocket knife is in GOOD condition. Some very minor cleaning was needed. I took some pictures and here it is.

Very recently, I acquired this fob or key ring, souvenir or tourist, lobster pattern or style of pocket knife. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. It is also the most recent addition to my general souvenir or tourist pocket knife collection. It came in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. However, I did not buy the group or lot to obtain this particular pocket knife. It is an UNBRANDED, one blade, one tool, 2 1/4" closed (not including the bail), fob or key ring, souvenir or tourist, lobster pattern or style of pocket knife. I could NOT find any maker stamp or mark, anywhere on this pocket knife. The main handle side has a "medallion" that says "1934 - A CENTURY - OF PROGRESS - CHICAGO" The other handle side says nothing, it is missing. It appears that this pocket knife has shed one of its scales. The main blade has no half stop, but has an ok opening and closing snap. The tool has an ok half stop, with a good opening and closing snap. Despite the missing scale, this pocket knife is still in GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

Guess that last post was more advertising than souvenir. Here are some souvenirs.
I was at Ft. McHerny in Baltimore a while ago and wanted a little knife like the one I had gotten there when I was a kid. It was about an inch or so on a key chain. When I asked if they still sold them, the lady said they, "didn't sell weapons here". I felt safer. ::facepalm:: J.O'.

Very recently, this souvenir "Trick Knife" pocket knife, arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. But, it did turn out to be a keeper. It will be added to my "Trick Knife" pocket knife collection. It does NOT say, but I'm 99.999% sure it is an Imperial, one blade, one tang stamp, 3 1/8" closed, souvenir, "Trick Knife", pocket knife. The tang stamp is two patent numbers. The main handle side says, "ELYRIA ELKS CLAM BAKE - 1950" This "Trick Knife" pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition and "works" the way it should. It did NOT need any cleaning. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

This souvenir pocket knife recently arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. This particular pocket knife was NOT the target of my purchase. However, it did end up being added to my general pocket knife collection. It is an ULSTER, two blades, one tang stamp, 3 1/8" closed, one spring, tipped bolsters, souvenir, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "ULSTER (over) U.S.A." The main handle side has a logo or emblem, along with the letters "F.O.E." (The Fraternal Order Of Eagles) The main blade has no half stop. It does not have a good opening or closing snap. The secondary blade also has no half stop, with no good opening or closing snap. This pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. Absolutely NO cleaning was necessary. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

Yesterday morning, this souvenir pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular souvenir pocket knife. However, it definitely turned out to be a keeper. It will be a VERY welcomed addition to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a GRIFFON XX, two blades, three tang stamps, 3" closed, one spring, all metal, souvenir pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "griffon (written, underlined) xx (over) B' PORT. CT." The main blade back tang stamp is the image of a "Griffon." The secondary blade front tang stamp says, "griffon (written, underlined) xx (over) B' PORT. CT." The main handle side says "1916" and also has the image of a buffalo head wearing a fez. The other handle side says, "Ismailia (symbol or logo) Patrol - A.A.O. N.M.S." (Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine) The following is NOT my description....."This early shrine pocket knife was made for the 42nd Imperial Council in Buffalo, New York on July 11, 1916. New York is the home of the Ismailia Shrine Temple hence the buffalo is wearing a fez on the handle." The main blade has a soft half stop, a NASTY opening snap and a NASTY closing snap. The secondary blade has no half stop, no opening snap and no closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. I gave it a VERY minor cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Some time ago, this souvenir, multi tool pocket knife, arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. This particular souvenir, multi tool pocket knife, was NOT the reason for my purchase. However, it did end up being added to my general, souvenir, pocket knife accumulation. It is an UNBRANDED, one blade, one tool (a cap lifter or bottle opener), one tang stamp, 2 5/16" closed, souvenir, multi tool, pocket knife. The main blade, as far as I can tell, has NO tang stamp(s) at all. The cap lifter or bottle opener front tang stamp says, "U.S.A." This multi tool pocket knife is contained in a VERY GOOD condition, 2 5/8" closed, vinyl case. It can be removed from the case. On the outside of the top flap of the vinyl case it says, "KIWANIS - K - INTERNATIONAL" inside of a dual circle. The blade and the tool BOTH open and close as designed, with NO issues. This souvenir, multi tool pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. Some VERY minor cleaning was required. I took some pictures and here it is.

Found this 1921, Knights Templar Conclave commemorative today in Virginia. Major August Vignos was the owner of Novelty Cutlery Co. of Canton, OH. I have never seen a knife stamped, "Vignos, Canton,O.". Novelty Cutlery was "licensed" around 1879 to make celluloid picture knives. I've seen those knives carry both the Novelty Cutlery Co. and the Vignos name (in a triangle), on opposite sides of the same blades, but I've never seen just plain, "Vignos" over "Canton,O.". This knife is 1921 so it's about in the middle of the company's life (1879-1949). Any info appreciated. J.O'.
