Thank you again Skip. After I posted it I searched and saw others. The knife is in pretty good shape and the Eveready ad is very cool.

Have to go down stairs and dig up the Curtis Baby Ruth knife, it’s an oval shield Remington in gorgeous shape. I’m sure Nestle/Ferrara would not give you a pocket knife no matter how many cases you bought. Just like you would not be able to buy a new Jonnie walker Lionel train car.
I will get a couple of pictures of the real McCoy.

This is the real McCoy. I think it has the factory edge but no etching. A beautiful example.

Not sure if this one belongs or not. I think it qualifies as advertising not sure if it’s old enough.

Re: Old Advertising & Premium Knives
Wanted to ask before I posted the other one I found. It is a China knife and I can’t find how old it is. My dad collected anything that he liked and maybe some stuff was intended for the grand kids.
It is a SKOAL multi tool knife.

Thank you Skip,
I didn’t even need to post a picture of my Skoal knife you already have. That being said I looked at your post and googled the knife and can’t figure out when they were produced. Do you have any info on how old it is.
Thank you very much

Re: Old Advertising & Premium Knives
You're welcome, Steve.

I have no idea when the SKOAL pocket knife was made.
If I had to guess, I'd say 1980's-1990's. You should post
your SKOAL pocket knife also. The more, the merrier.

Re: Old Advertising & Premium Knives
The following thirty-six (NOT including the last four pocket knives pictured), advertising, fob or key ring, pattern or style of pocket knives, were among various groups or lots of pocket knives that I have purchased over the last couple of years. They now become my latest examples to be posted under this topic or thread. Not one of these pocket knives was the actual target of, or reason for, my purchase. They are however, in good enough condition to join my general, advertising, pocket knife accumulation. They are ALL in GOOD to EXCELLENT condition. A few needed minor cleaning, most did not. They are NOT in any particular order. I took some pictures and here they are.

Quite a lineup, Skip! During what time period would these have been manufactured?

Re: Old Advertising & Premium Knives
Thank you, Ike.
Time span? I have absolutely NO idea.

I don't collect these pocket knives, so I don't
bother researching them. Definitely NOT antiques.

Re: Old Advertising & Premium Knives
Found this W.H.Morley & Sons, Germany, advertiser for LINZ BROS. Jewelers, Dallas. They started in 1877 and since they used imported knives suggests to me that it's fairly old. Snaps like an alligator. Skip should know. J.O'.

What I do know J.O'., is that is a BEAUTY
of an advertising piece of pocket cutlery.
