I like the new sheath Sas! ::tu:: ..... ::hmm:: I have one of the older ones with the nylon sheath. I like kydex much better. I remember when they 1st came out, they were ridiculously cheap to buy. I also have a C.S. S.F. shovel and with the Bushman, as a team those two items make a great combo to stash in your vehicle. ::nod::
Was that a subtle indication that you might want to swap sheaths?

Sas, I have a long handle attached to my knife, maybe 12-15 inches, so the old sheath works fine as I can't wear mine on a belt ::hmm:: ... I just think that the kydex is a good improvement over the older sheaths. I was looking at some old post on another forum and someone said they paid $13 for one around 2000 and I think they were for sale for about $8 when they first came out (maybe that was wholesale? ::shrug:: ). I wish I had picked up several back then, as I like the idea of one in a bug-out bag, one in each car in an emergency kit, one to take down to South America that might not make it back... etc...etc... ::hmm::

Dog and Charlie, your knives are most impressive in all ways guys, but your choices for companions even more so, both are beautiful creatures besides being your best friends.
I know Zeus is a pointer, Dog, but I'm not certain of what your pal is, Charlie, P-Bull yes? Although, his legs appear a little short.
Wonderful desert scenery in your shots as well, Dog, but where is the highway rock-fall shot taken, Colorado, perhaps?
Thanks for this treat, fellas! ::handshake::

Trey (AKA The Fabulous Furry Four Legged Farkle Hound) thanks you for the compliments gentlemen. He is 95 lbs. of dog on a mission to eat, sleep, and chase small furry critters. His is an American Stafford Shire Terrier. He got the name Trey because his predecessors were Ace and Duce. He's a good dog.

Here is yet another Ontario I picked up on flea-bay. I still can't believe they folded.

I was really saddened to hear Ontario had gone under,
Supposedly, Blue Ridge has bought the assets and is going to start production again in Ohio.
One of my younger brothers had a Jet Pilot knife when we were kids. A couple years ago I questioned him about the knife but, he said he had long since lost it. I bought him a replacement from Ontario and gave him a Rat 3 to go along with it.. I'm glad that I didn't wait.

Bought a new fixed blade, which is not a common occurrence for me since I mostly collect slip joints. But when it’s a knife made by Master Seizo Imai, I can’t pass them up. These were made from completed blades that Master Imai completed before his death in 2014. Fumio Inagaki finished these in three handle materials, ebony, Jacaranda and red sandalwood. This one is red sandalwood.

Yah, Colorado, Rocky Mountains, rock-slides, John Denver... C-o-l-o-r-a-d-o, COLORADO, what part don't you understand? ::shrug::
But you say "further north", Alaska, perhaps??? ::hmm::

Sas, ::cb:: I wasn't paying attention to Ontario ... what a bummer .... a year ago, this month... :x ☹☹😞😞 they made so many awesome blades and cool "survival tools" came from them.... ::doh::

Here is an Ontario that I just pulled out of my truck and saw that some water had got on it and left a rust spot, so I was cleaning and took a few pictures to post.... 😥 ...now I am a little sad to think that they are gone 😥 at least the original company....😞

I didn't know they had folded until a couple of months ago, I've been trying to pick up a few of their knives here and there for the collection. They'll be missed. I've got another one coming in the mail, should arrive next week.
