Hope everyone is having a knice weekend... Kinda gloomy here today, so thought it would be a good opportunity to get some pictures of my Tuna Valley sub-collection after adding a few last weekend.
Can't be too "gloomy" when you have all those beautiful knives to look at and play with!
Impressive pile indeed, Kevin...brightened up my day just looking at your TV sub-collection
The latest addition to my humble little Tuna Valley sub-collection is this sweet Buffalo Horn Phoenix Jack that was a surprise and very generous gift from knifeaddict1965 who apparently has so many that he is now handing them out like candy!
Thanks again, Kevin...I absolutely love this PJ; the high-gloss horn is smooth and glassy with a deep translucence that is simply gorgeous. Hard to capture its true magnificence in photos.

Congrats Q, that's a heck of a gift. Way to go Kevin!

Thanks Q! Happy to have brightened up your day and always appreciate your great feedback. Glad you like the BHPJ but would argue that there is nothing humble or little about any of your beautiful sub-collections.

I love the Burnt Stag
You win
Keith
hehe Thanks Keith. I enjoy the knives, and enjoy sharing photos and info about them with other collectors. I'm glad you found some amusement from them.

It's been a little while, so I figure maybe I should show a few more Tuna knives that haven't made an appearance in this thread yet.
This is a prototype of the EO Teardrop knives that were released in 2016. This one has a nice hunk of burnt stag on it.
A beauty for sure!

Sorry for the delay, I realized I hadn't posted this one yet. The olivewood Phoenix Jack. Still have another batch of knives to show here, just need to take the time to get photos of them all.

Here's a neat one to show. This is all the amber stag Tuna knives I have (current as of Aug 31, 2024). These range from 2012-2024, made by GEC, Queen or DFKB.

There are a few in that line up that they should think about bringing back. Some very nice knives you have there.

Wow, Carl! That Amber Stag is amazing; looks especially good in your family group shot. Every one is a stunner!

Time to revive this thread. I've been fortunate enough to have several knife shows in my area recently and got the Ebony Damascus from Carl (Rookie) and the Olivewood from Ryan in Lexington. Traded for the Amber Stag Damascus & Church Glass Mammoth Tooth at another show to finish out that Sub-Collection.
Time to move on to the next quest.

Absolutely stunning TV PJ collection, Kevin!!! Fantastic photo, too. Congratulations on completing your sub-collection...that's a significant and satisfying accomplishment. Very impressive.

Don't mean to be a fly in your ointment here, but...I don't see a Green Maple Burl Damascus in your PJ pile Are you sure you're ready to "move on"?

Thanks Q & Good eye! TBH, I hadn't planned to get the Green Maple Damascus since it was probably my least favorite of the PJs, and I figured the Ebony Damascus would be a suitable counterpart for that one. But now that you've reminded me, the OCD monkey may have to get that one as well if he can find the right deal. The Mammoth Tooth Church Glass wasn't on my list either, due to the price and not a huge fan of all the colors, but fortunately I came across one at a local gun and knife show and got a really good trade on it.

That The Monkey must be fed is an indisputable fact that is open neither to negotiation nor compromise...to think otherwise is to court folly and could be harmful to your mental health and wellbeing

I like how you positioned it in your photo at the bottom of the pile with all the other PJs lined up like church pews. Most folks likely believe the shield on the "Church Glass" handle depicts praying hands; however, when I look at it sitting at the head of all those gorgeous knives I can't help but think those are actually clapping hands applauding your amazing collection!
