Help with a Randall W. Gilbreath folder

Post by toomanyknives »

So, a buddy got this at an estate sale the other day. He brought it to me to help him figure out something about it. I have searched the net and our site, and have come up mostly dry. I saw that he did some collaboration with Parker, and I found some of his knives that had sold. It's a very well made knife,

So, I was just wondering if any of our members know him, or any other info. I found his address and phone in my Blade guide to Knives and their Values
from back in 2009. But, I didn't want to call and bother anyone, if he has passed. It's a very well made knife, and was wondering if it is a super rare gem.

Thanks in advance, I will post this in the Custom Builders Sub-forum also.

Any custom maker of any consequence can usually be found on the Arizona Custom Knives web site. Usually you can find some of their knives, sometimes also a biography of the maker. Just enter the name into the search field on the site. In this case I found Randall Gilbreath knives, both currently for sale and previous sales. ::tu:: https://www.arizonacustomknives.com/adv ... +Gilbreath

Thanks Ken, I did check Arizona, but saw what you mentioned. I may have missed the Bio. I did see the ones that had sold, and the current for sale. He does make a fine looking knife. Very good quality also. Thank you again.

That is a beautiful knife!
And I see that he is from Dora Alabama, too. I am very familiar with the area, but not the maker. Please keep us updated if you find out more about him.
