Start off the evening with a broken 6235 1/2 and end up with a 6135 1/2.
So, I started the evening with a $4.00 flea market 1975 Delrin Case 6235 1/2, got bored, and ended up with a new EDC 6135 1/2.
It has great walk and talk, and it cuts! Might do a little more blending of the bolster pins tomorrow, but for now it's bedtime!

Well, the Wizard had to edit his post. I stupidly put that it was a 6131 1/2 when it was a 6135 1/2. The Wizard was tired...

Great job and a nice EDC.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Thanks so much, GDogg! I hate to see a good knife go to the junk drawer!

First of all: Great job! I might have held off and looked around for a back spring, but a good knife 'now' is a lot better than a 'someday maybe'!!!
Secondly: where can you find a broken Case for $4?????
When I find them with all the blades broken off, they want at least $20!!
I guess that means you did doubly well.

Thanks Reverand! I found it at a local estate sale. They had it marked $30.00! I pointed out the broken spring, and they came down to $4.00Reverand wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2024 4:39 pm First of all: Great job! when I purchased something else with it.
I figured that if I ever come across another spring, I'll just slap it in and put it back as a two blade. But, for right now, I'm really wondering why
Case never made a 6135 1/2. I really like the feel and size of it. I have a few of the others, and love them too. The more the merrier!
Thanks,
Kerry
