Any Train Enthusiasts Out There?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Not sure if dad has any knives with trains or train advertisements on them. I will have to keep looking.

John nice layout I had one before my son was born in 2001. Took that one down has only been Christmas layouts since.
Can I post a video here or does it have to be a link to ytube?
Steve
Thank you! I know YouTube videos will post with some minor modifications, give it the old college try. 😉👍

Very nice, John, an impressive video. Meanwhile, no awesome layout for me, I just sit around and look at my cheap little CGW knife with the bulldog nose loco. It is not nearly as much fun to play with.... ::disgust::
Very cool, Ike. 😎👍

I should have said to try your video format and see if it works. But it looks like the "Attachments" feature will only allow us to upload pictures. ::nod::

There is a [url) [/url] option that might work with other video formats.

All the train talk this week I had to take the 15 minute ride out to Illinois rail museum. Used to take the kids all the time. As cool as it always was.

Great train museum,
Think my parents took me when I was really young. Was a member for a number of years when the kids were younger. I think they have a Shey steam engine that operates now I have not seen it in action. If you get the chance Ike or anyone else it’s impressive.

Looks like CN may be prepping for some tie replacement somewhere in this area.

FRISCO was a kool RR. 1522 4-8-2 rolled thru Kansas on a BNSF employee special Back in 04 maybe About 20 years ago. I think it’s been retired due to mechanical issues so it doesn’t get back out on the road anymore, unfortunately. Mark
