Thank you, good Sir. ::handshake::

It’s basically an upgraded Ritter Mini Grip that Benchmade used to make. Benchmade severed ties with Doug Ritter so he went to Hogue to carry on his design. Hogue made a few upgrades including Omega springs that have a larger “loop” which places less stress on the springs.

An effort to rectify the problem with broken Omega springs. I have confidence in the upgrade(s) and in Hogue in general.

Thank you for the compliment.

NICE catch, Tony, it's you all over, and it's a Hattori no less. Outstanding find after displaying great patience finding it, you deserve it buddy, and at that price point I'd say you stole it, too. He shoots he scores!

Thank you Rick! One of the things I like about this forum, is getting pieces of info like you just posted, about a particular knife. ::handshake::

Many thanks Mark! I got a San Mai CS SRK a few weeks ago at a yard sale, and was very excited about it. But this Hattori is a different animal. ::nod::
I will remain giddy till it arrives tomorrow, then be Mr. 8) again. ::handshake::

::hmm:: In the meantime, I think that I'll have a beer or three to pass the time...🍺🍺🍺 while I take a picture of my new RR Trapper (with a razor blade and red bone scales) that arrived in the mail.... I got one a couple of weeks ago and I liked it so much I had to get another one as a "back-up-EDC" ... ::hmm::
