Any info on Red Diamond Scout pocket knife
My first post so hopefully someone has heard of this knife brand. The tang stamp says Red Diamond New York. The shield has the name scout on it. The knife is a 4 blade. Regular blade, can opener, punch, screwdriver. any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Sure doesn't look like one. You can see the pivot pin in the bolster for example.
I have never heard of this brand.

If that shield says SCOUT, it is probably made by CAMILLUS. My phone cannot magnify pictures.

I have never seen that tang stamp, but I have owned identical knives with that handle and shield, stamped IMPERIAL, 1920's era older solid bolstered Imperials.

Upon checking my scout accumulation, l found that it was not CAMILLUS, but COLONIAL that used that shield. Here is a curved stamp COLONIAL with that shield.

Thanks guys for so much info. The handles are not the shell type and are with bolsters and pinned handles. The scout shield on the pics look a lot like it. So do we think Red Diamond is a Colonial? I am certainly intrigued with the info you folks have generated. Thank you all.
