Hello all,
I've been a collector of Italian switchblades for some years. Pretty much just Frank Bs and Campolin. A few well made less popular brands.
Thinking about getting into rebuilding and restoration of switchblades. I started life as a machinist and have experience with fine tolerance smithing. Also possess the needed metal working tools.
Is there a specific section in the forums here for members that strictly deal with switchblade parts, broken switchblades.
Also hardware like the brass pins? Thanks a bunch. Really excited to rebuild one.
Switchblade parts and rebuild.

Re: Switchblade parts and rebuild.
I do not think that we have a specific area for switch kade repairs, but there is one for knife repair and restoration.

I know that there is a sticky thread on tools and techniques, as well as pin stock and other supplies.
I hope this helps!

While there is plenty of general information about how to achieve your goal, some of the specialists here tend to keep their knowledge a secret, that being said… welcome to a fun and rewarding hobby, fixing switchblade knives!
I will also mention that I have found Italian knives fairly straightforward to repair, modify and customize.
Good luck.

Thank you for the responses. I think I can figure out how to repair and restore. There are some outstanding YouTube shows by ReXtorer that show step by step on restoration and repair. Would be great to find some folks here that have parts and blades for sale.

There's an AAPK store called "Rubens Blades" that sells some parts, SW, mostly covers and springs, although I don't know if he has what you need. The owner of the store use to be an integral part of "Roadsideimports.com" , a now defunct auto knife site, and the parts he does sell are leftover from that site, so perhaps you could contact him through his store and discuss what else he might have that's not listed. Just a suggestion, good luck, and
to AAPK!
