Is those Fox-N- Hound Pakistan Damascus pocket knives worth a darn?

Glenn,
They are not the most highly sought after of collectables. Pakistan does not have a very good reputation for producing quality cutlery. The Fox-N-Hound knives are better than a lot coming from there though.

The trappers done with the Pakistan Damascus are pure junk, however, their singe blade knives are done in China with a Damascus cladding over a core of decent steel that I suspect is 420 or 440 stainless and are usually very well done for the cost.

There is a huge variation between the best and the worst with the usual issue being the core is not well centered in the cladding Damascus or the scales are poorly matched or fit. if you can pick trough them rather than buying random you can get a very nice knife forthe money.
