How does one read the correct way to determine the age of the knife on the inside of the liner? the Blade states 673 PUMA-BANTAM underneath the main title reads: Genuine-Pumamaster- Steel-Germany the handle is rich brown Bone with the puma seal. Snaps like it came out of the factory! It could be a 85 or a 57

Puma has a web site where you can enter the number and it tells you the year - that is, the 5-digit number that is the date code. Just google "how old is my Puma knife".
