There is a picnic set from Germany with a knife, fork, spoon, salt & pepper shaker, and napkin, all in a leather case. A couple more photos and some additional details are in this post: viewtopic.php?p=1146727#p1146727.

Thanks for the positive comment Tim. Strictly a guess, but I think 1960s

I recently purchased this ulery toolkit and was told by the seller that it was made by Napanoch and that the tang stamp identifies it such. I am very new to collecting the vintage and antique knives so I’d really appreciate any information anybody might have to share with me. The elephant toe is my only other Napanoch purchase so far.

I can’t shed any light on whether or not this was made by Naponach, but I do have to say it is a great looking kit. Nice find.

Thank you so much for replying with your napanoch catalog ad! It makes me feel a little bit more confident that it might have actually been made by them now. I’m a newish collector and still lack confidence in my ability to know if something is or isn’t “right” I just went with a gut feeling on this one. Again I really appreciate your taking time to respond to my inquiry.

You're welcome. ::tu::
Sorry, the catalog has NO date.
Rest easy, ULERY is DEFINITELY a NAPANOCH brand.
GOINS 1998 edition has ALMOST the same ad and the caption says,
"Excerpt from the June, 1910 American Cutler magazine."

A VERY clean, GEO. SCHRADE KNIFE COMPANY, Girl Scout utensil kit.
The knife and fork are likely original and were included with the leather carrying pouch.
The spoon, as I was recently informed, is ALSO original to this utensil kit.
Caption(s), if any, are on the BOTTOM of the corresponding picture(s).

Miller Bro's wrote: Fri Jan 03, 2025 10:34 pm .....You sure the case is plastic? Certainly looks like leather to me ::nod::
Spoon looks original, can I see the maker mark on the backside?
"leather" replaced "vinyl or plastic" in my description.
Miller Bro's wrote: Sat Jan 04, 2025 10:47 pm Skip, my kit has the exact same marks on the spoon and the same design on the front so it is definitely original to the kit! 8)
I was informed that the spoon IS ORIGINAL to the utensil kit.
I replaced "The spoon may or may not be (probably not),
original to the set." in my description. I also added a picture
of the spoon marking(s) to THIS post.

You're right, the carrying pouch is leather.
I did a copy and paste of a different description
and forgot to edit my post. My description in my
current post has been corrected. ::tu:: ::tu::
Also, the back of the spoon (possibly WALLACE) says,
"ALLEGHENY STAINLESS STEEL WB (over) W"
