Columbia River CRKT Edgie

Post by Adam in NYC »

Getting a CRKT Edgie & wonder if anyone else on the forum has ever handled one. It has a self-sharpening gimmick that looks interesting. Hasn't arrived yet, but here are some images off the web for those who don't know the knife. :)

I have one of these- picked it up a month ago & have been using it at work. It does keep itself fairly sharp, but the edge is a little rough. Great for cutting open boxes, etc. I just wish it had some type of locking mechanism. Overall a decent utility knife.

Thks for the feedback Nick, I also wish it locks. How much force does it take to close? Is it like a Swiss Army knife or tougher than that? TIA.

I would say that it is fairly firm, about the same as a good Swiss Army knife.
