Re: Knives with Corkscrews
Not too recently, this pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my first example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT purchase the group or lot to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it did turn out to be a keeper. It did get added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a USA, one blade, two tools (a cap lifter or bottle opener and a corkscrew), one tang stamp, 3" closed, a long blade pull, "bartender" pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says "USA" I do NOT know what company made this. It could possibly be a COLONIAL, but I am not 100% sure. The blade does have a SOFT half stop. The blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. The corkscrew opens, closes and functions properly. The cap lifter or bottle opener does its job. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

FANTASTIC, GREAT L
KING, pieces of pocket, corkscrew cutlery, being posted by EVERYONE!!
I purchased this pocket knife back in 2018. It is a Peter Altenbach & Söhne, two blades, one tool (a corkscrew), one tang stamp, 3 5/8" closed, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "GARANTIE (over) SOLINGEN" with the logo on the side. The shield on the main handle side says nothing. The "shield" on the other handle side has the letters "DH", underlined. The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The secondary blade does NOT have a half stop. The secondary blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The secondary blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The tool (corkscrew) opens, closes, and functions as designed. This pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. This pocket knife did NOT require any cleaning. I just wiped it off.

Re: Knives with Corkscrews
Not too recently, this horseman or farrier, pattern or style of pocket knife, arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. This particular pocket knife was NOT the reason for my purchase of the group or lot. But, it did turn out to be a keeper. It definitely got added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. This is my first horseman or farrier pocket knife. It is an UNKNOWN, one blade, three tools (a hoof pick, a corkscrew and tweezers), 3 1/2" closed, one tang stamp (unreadable), horseman or farrier, pattern or style of pocket knife. So then, what is OK with this pocket knife? The handle sides look good and are in good shape. The blade, VERY SHARP, has a good half stop, with a good opening and closing snap. The hoof pick opens and closes as it should. The corkscrew functions properly. The tweezers are in good condition and appear to be original to the knife. So now, what is NOT OK with this pocket knife? The blade sits high and has diminished in size and shape over the years. Next to the blade, is the remaining stump of what used to be another blade or another tool. It also appears that each handle side can hold two tools, for a total of four handle tools (think Swiss Army Knife). However, only one of the four possible handle tools remains, the tweezers. But, overall, this horseman or farrier pocket knife is still in FAIR condition. It did need a little bit of cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Re: Knives with Corkscrews
Back in June of 2020, I obtained this pocket knife. It is an UNBRANDED, one blade, six tools (a cap lifter or bottle opener, a can opener, an awl or punch, a corkscrew, a 12 gauge and a 16 gauge, shotgun shell puller), 4 1/4" closed, one tang stamp, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "ROSTFREI" There is absolutely NO country of origin, or ANY other stamp(s) or marking(s), anywhere on this pocket knife. However, I am 99.999% sure that this pocket knife was made in GERMANY. This pocket knife is missing the bail. The main blade does have a GOOD half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The tools all open, close, and function properly. This pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. I took some pictures and here it is.

FINE L👁👁KING, pieces of cutlery, with a corkscrew, being posted by EVERYONE!!
I purchased this fixed blade and multi tool knife back in 2021. It is a SOLINGEN, one fixed blade, seven tools (a cap lifter or bottle opener, a fish scaler, a can opener, a saw, a flathead screwdriver, a punch or awl, and a corkscrew), one blade stamp, 9" total length, multi tool, fixed blade knife. The blade front stamp says, "SOLINGEN (over) MADE IN GERMANY" The seven tools ALL open, close, and function as designed. This fixed blade knife did NOT come with a sheath. This knife is in EXCELLENT condition. This knife did NOT require any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

Re: Knives with Corkscrews
Back in the year 2020, I added this multi tool, eating utensils kit, to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is an UNBRANDED, one blade, three tools (a fork, a cap lifter or bottle opener and a corkscrew), one tang stamp, "hobo", pattern or style of multi tool pocket knife or utensil kit. The main blade back tang stamp says, "STAINLESS (over) STEEL." It is NOT marked anywhere, but I am 99.999% positive that the country of origin is Japan. This multi tool pocket knife or utensil kit can be separated into two parts. The knife blade and the corkscrew are one part and both are on one side. The fork and the cap lifter or bottle opener are the other part and both are on the other side. It can be assembled so that the blade and fork open from the same end, or so the blade and fork open from opposite ends. The fork closed, locks the two parts or sides in place. The multi tool pocket knife or utensil kit is in EXCELLENT condition. Cleaning it was NOT necessary.
I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

I purchased this fixed blade and multi tool knife back in 2021. It is a DECORA-SOLINGEN, one fixed blade, seven tools (a cap lifter or bottle opener, a saw, a flathead screwdriver, a file, a can opener, a punch or awl, and a corkscrew), one blade stamp, 9" total length, multi tool, fixed blade knife. The blade back stamp says, "DECORA - SOLINGEN (over) MADE IN GERMANY (over) D.B.G.M." The seven tools ALL open, close, and function as designed. This fixed blade knife did come with, what I believe to be, the original sheath. However, it seems to be incomplete. This knife is in VERY GOOD condition. I took some pictures and here it is.

D.B.G.M stands for "Deutsches Bundes Gebrauchsmuster." This means, "German Federal Utility Model."
There is a TON of information on the internet that explains what exactly "German Federal Utility Model" is.
But basically, German Utility Models are a unique form of intellectual property protection obtainable through
a swift and inexpensive registration process.

Re: Knives with Corkscrews
Thank you, Floyd, they are amazing knives.
Those Sheffield boys, back in the day, really knew how to put a knife together.
