I got nothing from Google on that.

Also put 156 Minorte into Google Earth and got no results.

O' nice find! That's not Noble and Wilson, it's Norie and Wilson, 156 Minories St. They were a famous nautical chart and table maker (such as tide, solar, and lunar tables) out of London from roughly 1845 to 1905 give or take a few years. They also ran the Naval Warehouse on Leadenhall St in London which is probably where the knife was sold. You can also find such tools as sextants and compasses with the Norie and Wilson name on them.

Thanks all, especially 'ea'. I found them last night too. Very interesting. Now the horse-tradin' starts.
It has some flaws but it's 150+ years old. I'd like to get it. We'll see. J.O'.
