Thanks man. The Buckthorn on my property is aggressive. The vines grow like....well they grow like vines. Everywhere. Makes my fence line look like a jungle.

Just a tiny paraframe in my pocket today out in the fields. Needed something with a clip so I didn't donate a blade to the landscape. A colder rainy summer so far has yielded some top notch berries. It was the fastest we've ever filled a flat. 68 degrees with sun and s nice breeze, just enough to keep the bugs away. Perfect morning.

Nice combo. Much more rugged than what my day usually calls for. Do you like to work with paracord? Lanyards and keychains and such? It's a nice touch on your duo.

Great picture! Lake Michigan? Looks like a Great Lakes' sky and weathered wood.

Thanks man. Yep, that's a moody sky that rained 30 minutes later over Green Bay (the body of water). Picture was taken at Seagull Bar State Natural Area. It is in Wisconsin but it's actually not a place for seagulls to relax and have a drink as the name suggests, merely a natural shoreline feature, a sand bar nestled safely behind some wetlands. It's accessed by walking through Red Arrow county park in Marinette.

I don't usually carry a folder with me to the park but today I didn't change and had my orange Ganzo on me.
The little stuff that looks like snow is actually seeping pine resin....so cool.

Nice, John, always enjoy your pics. Now that Black Fly season is winding down, I hope to spend a little time on the NCT soon in Michigan.

We kinda put hiking on hold in the summer - between heat, bugs, and snakes, just would rather wait till September gets here. I’m still impressed with your 286 mile trek, John! And keep the pix coming! Always enjoy them! ::tu::

Thanks Tim. 🤝👍
This year has been slow. With the wet spring and now real hot summer I am not out there as much as I would like to be. Usually by May I am over the 100plus mile mark but it’s July and I am at 90 so far!! 🙄😖
And between temps and storms it ain’t looking too good!! 🫣
