I really like the overall look of the Utica Girl Scout knife

I love that long nail pull that stops just short of a sweet swedge - beautiful design. I’m sure the long nail pull is to protect young ladies fingernails, wouldn’t you think nice add to your already prolific Scout collection Dimitri!

I agree Tom, and the aluminum bolsters and liners makes this a very light knife to carry!

Add beautiful jigged bone handles and this knife is a real winner

My shop lady saves knives for me. Today she had this Western, Official BSA. 8-1/2"overall, 4-1/2" blade. Real nice "square knot" sheath. A little stained but no pitting. Lucky day! J.O'.

Great looking Scout troop there ronfish.

Here is a Western Split Tang Model 66 Scout Fixed Blade knife. Before this, I have only seen the Western Scout Fixed Blades with Stacked Leather handles. But the Stag on this one appears original to me.

That's a very well executed rehandle job. Western only made BSA knives in leather and maybe Delrin near the end of them making official scout knives. The biggest tell on this one is the guard, which is a non-Western style guard. The other tell, at least to me, is the way the Tenderfoot badge looks buffed with soft edges.

The knife was originally made after 1961, as that is when the rank badge stamped in the knives shifted from 1st Class to Tenderfoot. It has double pin construction, so the latest it would have been made is 1972. Sometime between 1968 and 1973, Western shifted to single pin construction on L66s.

Very recently, my visit to the post office produced this "SCOUT KNIFE" pocket knife. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also became the latest example to be added to my collection. It is an EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY (1916-1919), one blade, one tool (a cap lifter or bottle opener), one tang stamp, 3 3/8" closed, all metal, pocket knife. This pocket knife does NOT have a bail. The main blade front tang stamp says, "EAGLE KNIFE CO (over) PAT. OCT. 1.18 (over) MADE IN USA" The main handle side is a ruler that measures in 8ths of an inch. The main handle side says, "SCOUT KNIFE" This is my second, EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY, "SCOUT KNIFE." My other EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY "SCOUT KNIFE" was previously posted under this topic or thread. The main blade does have a WEAK half stop. The main blade does NOT have an opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The cap lifter or bottle opener tool opens and closes with no problem. This pocket knife is in GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning. I just wiped it off.

Cool knife Skip. It does appear that the main clip blade is short. Other that that, all looks to be original condition. First one like that I"ve seen.

Those are some really nice scout collections. As per usual my dad had at least 5 scout knives here is one I found the other day. A couple of flaws still a nice knife.

I can not take the credit for the nice little Girl Scout knife it’s all dad I have to find a couple more. I sold a couple more already a really nice one with etching. Not sure condition on the other ones.
