Boy Scout Type Knife

Post by UtherPending »

A friend bought this at a Flea Market. To me, it looks like a Boy Scout knife. It is intact and tight. The maker's name appears to be worn off. Any ideas?

My guess is that it was a Craftsman 9533 that was some kind of factory second, and the name was ground off.

I don't know who actually made it, however.

Looks a lot like some of the Ulster and Imperial made scout/utility knives I've owned. I agree it's most likely a factory second that has had the name ground off the tang.
