Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Welcome to AAPK. That is a dandy 6375!

Your comments about Case’s Tru-Sharp steel are the same as mine were, until about four years ago when I discovered diamond sharpeners. viewtopic.php?p=817657&hilit=Guided#p817657

What an epiphany! Problem solved! Since then I have ventured farther and farther into my once-forbidden world of stainless steel knives. My EDCs now include a custom having 440C and a Buck Paradigm with S35VN steel. Case Tru-Sharp, at which I previously turned my nose up, is now a snap to sharpen. There are many good diamond sharpeners available, at reasonable prices. The Worksharp Guided Sharpening System, even with inflation, can be bought for under 50 bucks. Even an old dog like me can learn new tricks. ::doh:: :lol:

Are you having a Black & Blue? Ever taken the Tour of Ireland? 7 pints of different Irish brews with half of others in some cases, including cider (Black Velvet). 🍻

Wrong thread? ::uc:: 🤭
::uc:: Oops! .... ::facepalm:: I think I get 2 strikes on that post... One for not posted in the "Beer Thirty" thread and one for using the Remington and NOT a Case to open the bottles .... ::doh::

::skeptic:: come to think of it I get the third strike for not posting another new Casee pick-up.... ::facepalm:: Looks like I'm "Out" ::dang::

::hmm:: ...I need to take the Tour of Ireland! ::woot:: 7 pints of different Irish brews with half of others in some cases, including cider? ::woot:: sounds like Heavan!!!🍺🍺🍺💚🍀

The bones scales or really beautiful on this Case Sky Blue Crandall Jigged Bone Trapper. Tight blades, good snap. There was a small nick in one of the blades, but that will come out with some light passes on a smooth stone. I don't like the new "tang stamp" etching on these 2024, I want to see a tang stamp that is stamped into the metal.

Overall, this is a very beautiful knife sharp and well made. I am very pleased.

Dullest_knife,
Wow, that one really rings my bell! A red bone Case is always a favorite of mine. ::tu::
Question, is that one a moose or a muskrat?

Muskrat, though I’m partial to a moose, that one rang my bell too - it’s a beauty. Thank you

I’ve spent to much the last couple months - hell years truth be told. But boy do they bring me happiness, and after bills, folks need to be finding joy where they can. Thank you all for kindness, Tim
