Love to see your camp photos. TY!!

Found this dead pine, now 100% fatwood, and decided to accordion cut out a flat spot for wood storage. Took a couple trips.

Excellent, Scott! BTW, I still have that piece you sent to me a few years ago as part of the Secret Santa Exchange. 😉

Cool old drawknife! 💯

Went with my wife and kids to Horicon Marsh yesterday. It's a pretty big deal if you're into birding. We just like to hike, but there's always people from many states away set up with cameras that cost more than my minivan. My wife is carrying our littlest in a backpack carrier. But don't worry, Im packed down with all the food and water, it just looks like she's doing all the hard work since I'm behind the camera.

Nice pictures, has been on my list for a long time, but I haven't made it there yet. Looks like a fun family outing.

Thanks fellas, it was a good day. It was really windy so I think the birds were hunkered down. But so were the mosquitoes so it was a good trade.

Went for a bike ride around town the day before. Literally around town, its a 16 mile loop. When we did it 7 years ago no kids it was no problem. Finished and considered doing it again. This time my wife had our 5 year old with her on a tandem attachment and I have the twins in a double wide trailer. It was very windy again. The trailer is like a sail. At points I was going down hill, not coasting but pedaling against the wind. Took us an hour longer than previous attempts. Good fun, even though my legs were hamburger when we got home. No pictures though, I forgot my phone. It's a shame, we look a little silly with our full fledged convoy.

We heard of this initiative: 1000 hours outside.

It's borne of the fact that children spend on average roughly 1000 hours inside on screens in a year and only a fraction of that outside in nature. The initiative aims to flip that on its head. We're a no tablet and minimal screen time family anywho, and the moto has always been get outside if its nice enough. We don't count the hours or anything, but hearing what we all already no is kinda sad and shocking.
