what do ya'll look like?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

brady, the camera dosen't lie; you are a lot younger than me. I can't believe I got this old (61) so fast. First photo is when my daughter was 3 and I was 22; now look what happened. :( ::dang:: ::dang::

And.....your daughter apparently likes having her picture made with you, as opposed to Brady's, who is sticking out her tongue.

I blew up the photo to get a better look at the topography in the background. ::paranoid::

Beautiful daughters in both pics.

God knew better than to give me a daughter, and His judgement has been clearly proven by my two granddaughters, Katelyn and Isabel. They have me so wrapped.

I was downloading some pics I took in the last 10 days.
Here is a pic of me and my daughter Tymbre.
She is also known as Pvt 2nd class Vincent at Fort Leonard Wood, MO where she is going through boot camp.
She is my baby. The youngest of my six children.
They grow up so fast!

Sure have. My wife's brother used to live there. Don't know where, but there. We've also been to and walked around Washington, Ky. That's a really neat place if you're into Kentucky history. Maysville is only about 60 miles from me down the AA. That where you live?

No, but from what I understand, all of those "Court Days" things are a huge flea market. I need to get there one of these days.

Griz

Let me guess, you play guitar, sing Bluegrass and were a member of Ralph Stanley's Clinch Mountain Boys. I think Ralph got most of his singers/guitar players from Sandy Hook. Kieth Whitley was from Sandy Hook and Sammy Atkins still lives there. Just kidding, but Sandy Hook is the hot-bed of Ralph Stanley folks. I was just with Junior Blankenship and Danny Davis this past weekend down in Clay City, Ky.

Here are a few photos from the Easton Pa. knife show this past weekend. I am sorry I didn't get a pic of everyone who was there, but I always forget I have the dang camera with me.

The first , from left to right are of Greg (dudleythetogi), Jared (Rigwelder), Russell ( Rusty1),
and Eric (ea42). They'd make a scary backfield, huh ?

Next are Charlie ( upnorth), Mike K. also known as (mikek), and Barry W. known to some of you as (1fartsmeller).

The third photo is of Charlie on the left, Mike L. (galvanic1882) on the right, and Mike's grandson in the middle, at his first knife show. Sorry Mike, I forgot the young fellows name, but at least I got a photo. My son, and two grandsons were all there for their first show and I forgot I had the darned camera until after they had left. ::dang::

Last are Eric, Russell, Charlie, and sneaking in on the far right my good friend, neighbor, and President of the EPKCA, Bill (stinky) Odor.

Besides my three boys, I missed pictures of Karl (pointythings) and his talented wife Kris, Peter Force, and several others.

Excellent pics Fran!! It was definitely great to meet everyone out there, especially Charlie all the way down from Canada! Here's my only pic, had to get Fran into the pictures as well!
You'll have to excuse the poor quality, I seem to be having some technical difficulties with the camera that I wasn't aware of ::doh::

Eric & Fran,
Thanks for the pics! ::tu::
It is nice that you guys are keeping track of Charlie.
As soon as he has bought all the nice old Schrade Cut Co.s, Empires, and ALL the other spectacular knives you have there, send him home. Please be sure he is here in time for the OKCA show in April!

Charlie’s departure will no doubt, be accompanied by a great sucking sound. This will be caused by the vacuum created when he removes so many fine old knives from the East Coast and brings them West!

It is a little breezy in Hellertown this morning. Maybe it was that Schrade Cut. Co. in the original gift box.

It was a real good show! Had fun meeting other forum members, a good group of guy's. It was a pleasure to meet Charlie at long last, together with his charming wife! I listened and learned a lot at this show, picked up many tips and notes about knife collecting. Bags of fun!!

It was a great show!! Antique knives were well represented. While a smaller show, it was big enough to find a half a dozen really good knives on my part, but more important, a dozen really great guys!!
Knife and knifer heaven!!!!!
I'm still on the road, but I'll be posting some pics later in the week, of people and knives.

Well fellers, I guess I've skipped over this thread long enough. Here I am in all my glory. Yep, we tend to be a little overgrown in my neck of the woods. Dad always said he hoped he would have a boy about 6' 5" and about 250 lbs......He ended up with two 6' 4" sumo wrestlers. Ain't got a pic of my "little" brother (baliblaster).
