Pictures don’t match??

First off thanks for the work that was put in to getting the forum up and running. I view the site on a IPhone 11, Safari browser and since the backup reload pictures on the threads don’t correspond with the posted topic. If I click the image to enlarge, then the proper pic is there. Example is on Glenn’s Sheffield Mod post I see a Fight’n rooster, bare head trapper blade replace and a filed back spring case, not what Glenn posted. This is true on quite a few other threads too.

Well, I think you've found some of the missing pictures from posts made between April 23 to reopening date.

You are most likely seeing images that are cached by your browser, but have gone missing on AAPK. Those cached images have names that were replaced by AAPK with new images.

So basically, your browser thinks they should look one way, but AAPK is serving an image that looks as it should now.

The issue should resolve itself over time. If you use a different browser or device, it should be correct if that browser / device has not seen the pic.

This is something that I did not anticipate, but now that you bring it up, I'm like ooooh ya, should have thought of that

I’m sure with what happened with the server more quirks will show up. I will try opening it on duck duck go and signing in, and will try deleting safari’s history, log out and back in. Thanks again.

Try clearing your browser cache. That worked for me. All seems to be operating normally after I did that.

Thank y'all for recommending to clear the browser cache. AAPK still would not load on my iphone - I kept getting the same message that the website was down due to Hard Drive failure.
But it was loading perfectly on my Android device.
Clearing the cache has it working perfectly on both now!

I went in Safari on the phone and cleared history, it logged me out but when I logged back in everything worked like a champ! Just make sure you know your user name and password if you do that.
