Keen Kutter sportsman's knife.

Found at a local antique shop. Master blade stamped w/ K-K logo; secondary stamped w/ E inside a diamond w/ SHEFFIELD above it. Wish it was in better shape. Not sure of the age,but construction looks old.

I don't think that Keen Kutter blade is original to the knife. I've seen similar horseman's knives where both blades are marked with the E in a diamond (no idea what company that was). Looks like that pin was added later too. Cool old timer just the same!

Now that I look at it more closely, I believe you may be right. The way the spine approaches the backspring at an angle rather than parallel should have been the tipoff. Now all I have to do is discover who, ''E'' is!

I had always assumed the Diamond E stood for Diamond Edge, under the Shapleigh brand. I'm sure that was probably a bad assumption though.
