Love cats as well. Have a couple. Like dogs and people, all different, all unique. Great mix of your independent friends.
Happy Easter to you and yours. Snow here. Bear is happy even though he does not look like it. Elsa snoozing inside for now. She loves the snow as well. Have a great day.
Jerry
EDIT: Added a few pics. Semi mud bowl today after snow melt (dried up pretty quick) and some past pics. She is all white coated. After play with Bear, not so much. He isn't spotless either.
Needless to say, he has size advantage, she compensates with attitude, presence, dominance and a frequent mouthful of his coat.
He is relentless with his strength, but gentle to not harm. She is sheer attitude and posture. She doesn't mess around when reminding him of hierarchy. Elsa, sweet as they come till she ain't.
Funny to watch.

Old fart and young heeler. Me and Petey. I've had a hammerheaded heeler in my life since 1980. They've all been great dogs. They're a handful but you will have to look hard to find a more devoted dog even though they'll try you every day in some form or fashion.
The blue dog is Patches. She's my wife's velcro dog. She weighs 35lbs, Petey, the oaf, weighs 50. He still thinks he's a lap dog at times. When he's not getting into meanness, he's usually sleeping on my foot.

Great dogs Wullie. A good dog is one focused on you because they value you. Great pics of some loyal pups.
Thanks Mark. Hope you and your pack are well. Bear turns two next week, same week I brought him home a year ago.
He and Elsa have really connected. Long road but worth it and still work to do.
My dog acquisition progression I realized has always been girl, boy, girl, boy. Not on purpose, just how the cards fell. Every time they connect, always wonder, "brother or lover?"
Realize now, they just love each other as dogs/ companions. Part of our pack.
6 or 8 inches of snow last two days. Sun doing it's job today. Foresee a dog rough play mud bowl today.

Took a few shots of Moki. The first one was this morning while he was carrying a big rock around. Never seen a dog more entertained by rocks than he is.
The second shot was him on the day of the eclipse again with the same rock. And the last one is him and Girl Scout sharing space. For being so far apart in age, they sure share a lot of characteristics and gravitate toward each other.
Great pup pics Gents. Dogs are one of the best parts of life, in my opinion. My dogs are a huge part of my life. Can't imagine not having that kind of joy in my life.

Not that he isn't a handsome boy, definitely a beast though. The dog on the left. LOL.
Bear and Elsa. Doggie Death Match on Tuesday with Elsa the outweighed instigator. Not play fighting. Crazy.

Did some planting today. Had two wonderful supervisors watching me.
Jake (Brown) & Amy (Black)
Oh, and Amy doesn't really want to play ball, she just likes to run around with it playing "keep away". That's her way to get Jake to chase after her. It's funny.

Beautiful pups Tom, they look super friendly. Is that a Renault in the background - don’t see many of those in the States!
Thanks for the comment Tom!
Yes, it's a Renault Modus. Wife's car. I've had two Renaults and one Peugeot in my life time but none that I would buy again. They were all "OK" but just "OK". They all had some kind of issue. Both Renaults have had electrical issues & the Peugeot had a cooler issue. One Ford & a couple of Opels didn't do much for me either. They also had their issues. Pontiac & VW were pretty good cars that I have had but the best cars I've ever had were an Audi 80, a Honda CRV & the red Hyundai i10 that I have at the moment. They were all really good reliable cars. Sorry, got off topic.

Just had to take a few pics of Moki. He was “helping” me in my office today as I was catching up on my knife store. He is using my display cases as a pillow. He sleeps like this at night with his head right on a speaker for our television. If I slept like this, I would have such a pinched nerve in my neck it would take weeks to relieve it. He is such a beautiful and gentle dog.

4 months old and a little over 5 pounds when we got her.
10 months and 13 pounds now. Shouldn't get much bigger.
Corgi-chihuahua mix. The corgi really comes out when she wants to move you along - light nips on the heels. I understand that's how they moved cattle along.
Meet Chloe.
Take care and God bless,

Beautiful young pup Steve! My next pup is going to be smaller. But I can't help myself so who knows.
Bear resting up for the day's mischief. 2 yo now and about 140#. A force to be reckoned with. Amazingly gentle yet admirable powerful. Just sweet and strong.
No one wants to be on the latter side, especially me. Been there, done that. He is very efficient in that department. Laid out 5 days and still recovering over a couple months last fall. Cracked up ribs, jacked up knee. Not an attack. Just a John Wick moment. Two barking dogs made him enraged during our pleasant stroll. In his defense, other dog owner was a complete idiot and Bear got pissed. It happens.
We were having a eye to eye moment waiting for traffic to pass, when some dipstick driving by had 2 dogs out the window barking like 5 feet away. Not sure what the dog speak was, but he was clearly not a fan of the exchange. We were both startled. I was in awe of the shear 0 to 1000 mood change. His shoulders went from slack to back. Like Incredible Hulk. Not embellishing. To say he puffed up, is a extremely severe understatement. This dog was focused, sheer will, mission to get done. Only one problem. "Sorry, I forgot you even existed or were holding my leash", body slam and parking lot drag. True story.
Spectacle!
