THAT looks like fine dining to me. ::drool:: ::drool:: ::drool:: I don't think they have emerged locally yet. Been too cold, but that's about over so it won't be long now.

For me, mushrooms are like snails - I can only eat them if they are drenched in butter and garlic. When they are, they are pretty good, when they aren't, no thank you...

My ex-wife used to say I had no morals whatsoever.............OH! That is something else! :mrgreen: Love mushrooms of any variety but be careful of the huge ones they serve in soup in Cambodian restaurants! Not the mushrooms;the cayenne pepper they use by the handful in the broth! Sadly there are no Cambodian restaurants in Michigan. Used to take our kids to one in Lowell Massachusetts(The Kyhmer) regularly.Great food and great people.

I love me some Morels! Yes sir, fine dinning. I dont think any are up around here yet.

They're poppin' in the WMD. My sister said these are the most she's ever found. I hope to find some in my secret stash areas this weekend.

That's the way to eat morels in my opinion, and I agree they are better than fried chicken and I like fried chicken.
