Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Got this RoseCraft in the mail today.
RoseCraft Briarpatch Jack RCT012.
Based on a traditional cigar pattern. Features a 3.2″ D2 clip point blade and a 3.1″ D2 lambfoot blade, both with heavy swedging, half stops, and brushed satin finishes. The covers are Smoky Gray Bone, with brushed steel bolsters, steel liners, nickel silver pins, and the stainless steel RoseBud shield. It’s 4″ closed, 7.2″ overall (main blade open), and weighs 4.2oz.
I don’t know all the science behind the metals and the finishes but in my opinion it is a very handsome knife. All parts are very smooth and flush fitting with a factory edge that is very sharp. I have no doubt it can do a hard days work and my only negative is the weight is a bit to heavy for me.
They even give you candy!

What a nice knife, David, I really like that smoky grey color.
I have a few models from Rosecraft Blades, and I'm more than happy with all of them, IMO, they're very well made.

Two knives recently found their way to my mailbox. One from our own pearlgearl, a Taylor Eyewitness ring turn knife in great condition.
And the other from the shallow end of the bay, a Camillus Army Air Corp utility knife. It is the 3rd model with just a nail nick instead of a match strike pull and with plastic (?) handles instead of bone handles.

I am very happy with this B&S sheep's foot folder
Thick solid blade, great snap, half-stop, nice tang stamp. A very nice feel overall. And I am always happy to buy a product made in the USA!

What a cool Bullwinkle, buddy, get it nudge nudge?
I like the looks of the clip-point blade on this one, and I usually don't.
