Can you guys recommend a good "how to manual" for knife building and restoration of knives?
I am most interested in 1) the replacing of knive handles with fossilized materials like coral and mammoth tooth and 2) re-habing old knives with pitting, dirt, rust, etc.
Thanks!!!
Steve

Steve,
You might want to check out "Knife Repair & Restoration" by Adrian A. Harris.
Orvet did have some copies for sale in his store recently, however I do not know if he still has any in stock now.

Thanks Phil!
Sent you a PM but it appears to be stuck in my outbox.
I hang out and wait on Orvet to see if he has the book.
