Dale, I hope you were in your truck đźšš. If not it would have taken 2 trips just to get all that home. I too have a fascination with rope knives. (and pruners, and Dr's knives, and whittlers, and EO's, and ........) You picked up some beauties.

Thanks Floyd, I do like the old ones with lots of character!
I had to trade in the Silverado as Alyson had a lot of difficulty getting into it, as the chemo left her pretty weak. We got a 2020 ST6, kind of a SUV but with a third-row seat. Both the second & third row seats fold flat so there is lots of cargo space, 6' in length. I am also getting smarter in my old age and taking less to the show, especially since I didn't have Alyson there to help this year. I even managed to take all the stuff out to the car in one trip after the show, a first for me! ::ds::

Anyone seen a OKCA show thread for this year? 2024 show in Eugene is two weeks out, the shows gonna be a good one. I'll be there all 3 days and posting pics as I browse. Let us know if you're going and I might have to start a thread. Hope to see any of you there that are going to attend.

Man I-Man, I wish this show wasn't 30+ hrs. away... I would love to see some of your knives up close and in person.

I wonder if it would make sense or be worth the trouble for Bryan to add a new "TOPIC" section under "GENERAL KNIFE RELATED FORUMS" for "Upcoming Knife Shows". I would think that would be a great place to post threads to inform/remind members and post information & pictures. This may have been brought up before and may not be worth the trouble, but I for one, would definitely follow this thread and enjoy reading the posts and looking at all the photos from the different shows.
