I really like this one Jamie .. no issue at all. I've had a lot of RRs before, but this is my first RRR. High quality knife!
I agree on the Parkers. That Latama Quick Release Marco told me about works awesomely for that!

The RRR should be a step above the regular RR, you know (you sell knives also) that expectation takes step ups from $20 knife to a $50 knife and when you go over $100 it starts getting do I really want this…lol and then if you collect enough you will question yourself when you plunk down way more…been there done that. I’ve said I just paid $700 for a little metal and some bones. I’m the same way with tools…guns….old cars….

Evan Esnyx designed Beer Buster built by Reate. Very nice knife, but what I don't like is in the dealer info and specs there was not one thing about where it was made. If you're gonna sell knives I would think you should be up front about everything, including the country of origin. That's the first clue. Then when you look at it if I was betting man I'd guess it was made in the same factory as Jack Wolf knives. Well put together piece, just dont like it when they hide place of manufacture and deliberately avoid any mention of it. That spells China every time. But they avoid mentioning it and can't find it on knife, box, or papers like they don't want you to know. Lame marketing, wonder if they are embarrassed about it? Seems to me if the product is good, then they would tout it, not hide it.

If you look it up on DLT Trading company’s website it shows China as COO. That being said it also looks to be very well and very eye appealing, I try not to get too hung up on country of manufacturer, but some on this site thinks buying from other countries is funding the China government. Either way it’s a fine looking knife.

Cant speak about DLT, did not buy this there. But it sounds like at least they are honest enough to admit it and print it. That's all I ask. That's accurate info. That's respectable. I would appreciate it if other dealers who sell them would do likewise and not insult our intelligence by hiding the words, "Made in China" and hoping we dont look it up. Maybe they are afraid that if we find out they are hiding place of origin, that we wouldn't want to pay that high of a price for a Chinese knife? Hiding it is deception and insulting. So much for honesty and disclosure in marketing.

Thanks Marco! The Schatt 04111L is definitely your kinda knife measuring 4 5/8" closed with the spear blade you love so much. However, this one has bone handles instead of stag. I haven't seen this model in stag without the swing guard, but I definitely plan to get the stag version at some point with or without the swing guard. Thanks again brother and keep posting those big ol' cool knives.

The knife I have that I thought might be a copy of your S & M turned out to be a Robert Klaas lockback that's considerably smaller, but as nice as it is, it will never be as nice as your S & M.

Shortly after I landed here at AAPK I did a deal with Brent for 3 or 4 knives, can't remember for sure, but he was a great guy to work with, and, he had/has some very nice stock.
I like doing deals with AAPK sellers, cuz it feels like you already know the person, and not just some minimum wage clerk at a retail store who's thinking about his girlfriend and really couldn't give a sh*t about you.
This doesn't apply for online deals, of course!

Iman, I’m with you on the hiding country of origin, in violation of the law, the COO is suppose to be on products. I find it odd the Esynx would do that. They have a great reputation and great knives. I only own a couple but they were made in the USA. It is a nice looking knife.

I finally got a knife I have been keeping an eye out for many years. It’s designed by Master Koji Hara and made by G. Sakai. Called the female bamboo. I have no idea why female bamboo. Beautiful pearl inlayed between nickel silver. VG-10 San Mai blade. The blade contour follows the contour of the knife. Perfect centering and smooth as silk deployment. And of course, made in Seki Japan. Now I will be watching for the gold lip pearl version.

Due to the accessories in your picture, Iman, I'm going to assume you got your B/Buster from Risner. If that is indeed the case, I'm surprised Austin is acting in this manner, he's usually straight-up in his posted information. Perhaps he didn't want to ruin the good mood the customer will be in when they first sees these knives! lol!
I too got the notification email about the B/Busters, but when I viewed them and then saw the price in Canadian funds I kept on scrolling. Next time you visit the site, change the currency at the top of the page that you're shopping in to CDN just for a laugh, but be sure you're sitting down!
Enjoy your new knife, buddy, life is too short to be upset about the lack of a little information, even though in this case the information is kindda important to you. I like it when you're happy much more than when you're not so happy!

Another stunner, Mark, congratulations on finding an elusive model you've been hoping for.
I too really like how the contour of the body matches the blade, that's what gives your knife the "bamboo" look, IMO.
Perhaps the "Female" designation is due to the bright white coloring, after all, don't we all think of the ladies as white and pure.
Maybe the gold lip version will be called the "Male bamboo" since it will be darker, just like men are.

As promised, Kevin, here's another of my "big ol' knives"!

This is a CRKT 9 1/4" Premium "Redemption" Crossbar lock that was designed by Ken Onion after Wild Bill Hickock's Aces and Eights "Deadman's Hand"!

It sports a 4.06" CPM MagnaCut single plain edge spear-point blade WITHOUT a nail-nick or thumb-stud, ribbed SS bolsters with the Crossbar lock button integrated into them, 5" SS handle with black G-10 covers and blank shields, a tip-up reversible pocket-clip, and a filler for the empty hole that the clip leaves when it's removed, which more and more makers are supplying with their knives. Weighs 4.9 oz.'s, walks and talks very smoothly, and bears a CRKT fit and finish.

It should be noted as to why this knife has no nick or stud, and it's because it can ONLY be opened/closed using the C-bar lock, and let me say, it will take a bit of getting use to, but once mastered it's very cool. Ken designed it this way in order to have the blade totally hidden when closed with nothing sticking up/out. He must have had me in mind when he did this, cuz I love knives that have that look. When one doe get accustomed to this type of opening/closing it's a whole bunch of fun, cuz when the button is shifted the blade falls out of the channel swinging freely until you flick your wrist and it flies into the locked position. I have no idea how this knife gets past Customs if indeed it does, considering it's 1-hand opening abilities, but I bought mine here in Canada so it arrived trouble free.

I paid-up a little for this fine knife, but seeing as I have the funds and don't really know how much longer I will be a citizen here on planet psycho, I pulled the trigger, and it's a good thing I did cuz it's sold out again already!
