I purchased a Moore Maker congress knife yesterday. It has yellow delrin handles. I know Queen used to make knives for Moore Maker, but since they are no longer in business, does anyone have any idea who made this knife? The dealer who sold it to me said that he bought the Moore Maker stock when Queen went out of business, but has nothing to prove this statement. Also, I was thinking of having this knife rehandled in bone, stag, or pearl. Would this decrease the knifes value?

I would have to see pics with the blades open, but it appears to be a Queen made knife. Queen made the only four-blade congress pattern that was sold by Moore Maker.

Odd because the handles look like yellow Delrin, not smooth bone. Queen made very few Delrin handled knives for Moore Maker and the ones that they did make were short runs, so that may be a short special run or even an "end of days" knife from the Queen factory.

I'd contact Moore Maker, they have records of all their knives and most knives have the model number and/or date which makes the search even easier for them. Probably Queen, early 2000's but I'm just guessing here.

I contacted Moore Maker, and was informed that Queen made this knife for them in the 1990’s, and cost $120.00 at that time. I didn’t pay anything like that!
