It's 8 3/4" open and displays a 440 SS dagger blade with dual-studs, NS hardware, and black G-10 covers. All screw construction.
This knife reminds me of the Viper "Key" model!

NICE Mark! I like the look the thumb stud cut out gives the knife, and it appears that the liner lock is easily accessible with it also.
I hate it when I have to dig a nail in to unlock a knife. Good one Buddy!!

Not your usual pocket knife but one a little more specialized. An old horn handled horse fleam. Tang stamp is Borwick. Probably worked on people too.

Along with it's easy-on-the-eyes appearance, it opens/closes silky-smooth 1-handed via the stud, plus it's very easy to access the coined linerlock when you want to close it, also 1-handed.
According to their own rules, Customs should have seized this baby due to it's 1-handed abilities, but they must have been busy stealing someone else's knife when it went through their office so I got it!
It's a pretty sweet knife, and it didn't cost me any arms or legs!

Thanks for all the information. I am pretty sure this is probably from the son's time. I got it with a group of 3 other knives, none note worthy. I've never heard of a "horse phlegm" before, Floyd. What would such a tool be used for?

Q it should read fleam or phlebotomes. It was used for blood letting. It was common practice to bleed horses or people to help cure their maladies. Our own George Washington was bled on his death bed to help him get well. Not very sanitary as the bone handle couldn't be sterilized. Of course when this one was made sterilization was not a medical practice. Hope that gives you more information than you wanted.

Gotta admit, that's the first Wenoka I've seen that wasn't a dagger or diver's knife.

Me also Cody .. that is why I bid on it. The snap is great, but the travel is a little rough. Oiled it and will see how it improves.cody6268 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 12:09 amNice pair!Corn Creek Cutlery wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 12:01 am These came in today from bidding on the bay .. got a great deal ... not many bidders on either of them.

Thanks a bunch, Tim, not only do I like how it looks, but it feels great in my hand, just like it belongs there!
It certainly is an odd knife for it to be a Boker, but it is!

Very nice. I’m yet to figure out the difference between a Elephant Toe and a Sunfish. But, honestly I haven’t researched it yet. I am finding researching & learning is half the fun in this hobby.Luckypaul777 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 19, 2010 5:57 pm I got this nice 1975 Case toe today;and should get this 1996 Bulldog sunfish with great stag scales
