John. One day last fall I put a Case Eisenhower on a pile of rocks, took a few pictures and walked away. About an hour later I realized what I had done and luckily we were going back by there on the way out. I was lucky as no one else came along. 🫣😂😂🫣 Knife was where I had left it!! 😮

Glad you didn't lose it, those are nice. ::tu::

Awesome pictures! I skied in North Carolina, probably 10 years ago now. Sugar, Beech and Appalachian come to mind. Excellent conditions, people don't realize the highest elevation on the East Coast is in NC. 😉

Cool pic, John! We see that type of sign quite often when we’re hiking. So what kind of knife do you have there? I like it!

I found that sign in the Allegheny National Forest off the trail kinda in the middle of nowhere!! No other signs I saw!! Had to go off trail about 20/30 yards. That’s why I had to take a picture of it!! Didn’t see any more!! The trail is behind it up the grade. I first only saw the back but had to go look to see what it said!!

My son and I try to have a walk together every week and those are the usual suspects for us as well plus a coyote or a Bobcat. Love getting out and love the company.

Great pics, John! My wife and I have just gotten into hiking in the past couple of years. We knew about the National Forest that’s about an hour away, but we’ve only discovered all the hiking trails that are there in the past couple of years. Then, that led us to discovering more trails at a State Park a couple of miles further up the road. The only holdback at this time of year is the incredible amount of pollen we get.
